March 2012 I was informed that the Digi_Ned system has been removed from the
location by the current ATOF (NOV) holder.
They have deemed to system of no more use for them, nor for the APRS digi
network in the Netherlands.
End of story now for PI1HLM also with APRS!
End of August 2010 Digi_Ned has been fully updated to work according to the
new paradigm.
Note that Relay and Trace no longer are relayed!
Digi_Ned has been updated to the most recent version in preparation for the new Paradigm (20 May 2008).
As of 21 May 2007, PI1HLM Digi_Ned is back on air with a 'new' computer.
The 'old' computer was a 486DX33 that was actually never meant to be used
for the two and a half years it has been, as it was my APRS test system.
The 'new' computer is a P120 mainboard with 32MB RAM. The processor cooler
is a type without fan.
The system has two 1.44MB floppy drives, with Digi_Ned starting from floppy
and then running completely in RAM.
No harddisk is installed.
